The VFA kicks off in casual style, Afternoon Grill n Chill session down on the beautiful sandy shores of the Holiday Park, meet up with the other VFA campers while we grill away on the onsite BBQ’s watching one of Australia’s best sunsets over the stunning Lake Macquarie. We will have kids’ activities on the lawn, then once the sun sets, we will set up for a cinema under the stars for a kids-friendly movie night. Exclusive to VFA Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park onsite campers only.

VFA 2025 LAUNCH PARTY
4:00pm to 9:00pm
The VFA gates are opened at 4 pm as we officially launch the Volksfest Australia 2025, gates will also open to the General Public, as we ramp up with Rock Music into the night with food and drinks in the Volksfest Beer Hall. Kids Korner will also be open for all the VFA kids activities to help keep the kids amused whilst you dance away the night.Â
Saturday 20th September
SATURDAY CRUISE

Exclusive Volksfest Australia Cruise
Departing Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park we will make our way through the town of Swansea and head out on the highway towards picturesque Caves Beach. This year we will have the route well published as the locals are keen to see you all again and want to support you as you cruise through their streets. Let’s make it a huge turn-up.
Make your way back to Volksfest Australia at Swansea Lakeside Holiday Park. Pedestrian entry is via Wallarah St for the general public. Park guests can enter via the exclusive VFA gates within the Park.
VOLKSFEST AUSTRALIA OPENS

The Festival gates are open officially open to the general public and VFA pass holders.
Market Stalls, Food Trucks, Live Music, Beer Hall, Bars, Kids Korners with loads of kid’s activities, rocker cover racing, Hot Wheels racing, face painting, and Skateboard Deck painting classes. Trade stands and Sponsors Displays. Â
SATURDAY SUPER SWAP
From 12:00pm
From midday your chance to buy, sell and swap your “rusty gold” as automobile collectibles and rare finds will be on sale from our swap meet zone.Â
If you have collectibles at home and would like to turn your hand at selling.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON DISPLAY YOUR PRIDE
From 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Return from the morning VFA cruise, bring your pride of joy into the festival grounds for a free afternoon display, a chance to chat with other VW owners and meet the locals who are excited to see you all.
Sunday 21st September
VOLKSFEST AUSTRALIA OPENS
9:00am to 4:00pm
The Festival gates are open to the general public and VFA pass holders.
The Festival kicks off with loads of unique market stalls, tastes from around the world with our food trucks and check out all the latest industry news and happenings with our Trade stalls and Sponsors.
Kids Korner will get underway with colouring in competitions, face painting, decorating, rocker cover racing, hot wheels racing, and other kool activities.
Volksfest Beer Hall Opens from 12pm serving beer, wine and spirits.
SUNDAY SHOW AND SHINE
9:30am until 2:00pm
Gates for entrants in the Show and Shine will be open from 7am until 9.30am.
Polish your pride and joy. All air-cooled and water-cooled Volkswagens are welcome. Judging to be finalised and winners announced by 2pm.
Judging categories to be announced closer to the festival.Â

Awards will be announced at 2pm from the main stage.
